2008 Announcement
May 3rd and 4th 2008
It's that time again to start planning for the celebration. Time to gather round Old Timers from Goodsprings, Jean, Sandy Valley, Erie, Roach, Sloan and Stateline [now Primm] to exchange stories of yesteryear along with pictures of memories. It is always a great time to be had by the old and the young.
Saturday, May 3rd

Community Center will open at 8:00 AM for donuts, coffee, tea, and registration.

· Goodsprings Historical Society will meet at 10:00 AM ***Note the change*** Bringing your dues current before the meeting will be very helpful.

Potluck at 1:00 PM

· Marcia Whitney Memorial will follow the potluck.
Sunday, May 4th

A great miner's breakfast will be served from 8:00 until 11:00 AM.

About 2:00 PM it is pot luck time again. Then visits and good-byes.

Leaving us this past year were: Jane Albritton, 09/22/07; Dick Barnes, 06/11/07; Tom Birdwell, 07/04/07; Terry Hudgens, 12/31/07; Harry Gadd, 4/01/08; Christine Stephens, 12/19/07; Evelyn Stewart, 09/17/07 and Marcia Whitney, 03/01/08. We didn't have pictures of everyone who passed but hope you recognize Evelyn and Marcia in the top and Christine in the lower one. If there are others of whom we are unaware, please let us know.
